Soul singer and actor MAJOR. is bringing his signature message of hope and love to the One Voyage Cruise this fall, where he is set to perform alongside a star-studded lineup.

During an interview with The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, MAJOR. spoke with Rock-T and Da Brat about the upcoming cruise, his latest single, and a full-circle moment at this year’s Stellar Awards.
Known as the “Hope Dealer,” MAJOR. said he was excited to join the cruise after seeing the lineup, which will be hosted by Rickey Smiley.
“I was already impressed at the lineup knowing that Rickey Smiley would be hosting and the lineup is crazy,” MAJOR. said. “Like, literally this is the cruise ship that everybody needs to be on.”
The One Voyage Cruise will sail from Miami to the Bahamas from October 26 through November 1. While MAJOR. has performed at countless venues throughout his career, he revealed that this will actually be his first time performing on a cruise ship.
He recently took his first cruise to celebrate his fifth wedding anniversary, but kept the trip short to get a feel for the experience.
“I did go on my first cruise not too long ago, as we celebrated our five-year anniversary, but it was only three days, ’cause I wanted to test it out,” he explained.
Fans can expect MAJOR. to bring a mix of his R&B and gospel influences to the stage. He plans to perform some of his familiar songs, including “This Is Why I Love You,” while also introducing passengers to his newest release, “May This Moment Never End.”

The song recently received a major spotlight when MAJOR. performed it at T.I. and Tiny’s vow renewal in Jamaica. He said he is looking forward to bringing the song to the cruise for couples to enjoy.
MAJOR. also reflected on his recent experience co-hosting the Stellar Awards pre-show alongside artist Adia and American Idol winner Jamal Roberts. For him, the opportunity represented a full-circle moment.
He recalled writing to the Stellar Awards while he was still in high school, asking for an opportunity to be involved. Michael Johnson, who remains a producer with the awards, encouraged him to keep working toward his goals.

“I’ve been nominated for Stellers, I’ve hit the stage, and now I’m co-hosting, so it was pretty special for me,” MAJOR. said.
With “May This Moment Never End” now available, MAJOR. is encouraging fans to support the new music while he prepares for his One Voyage Cruise performance.
