The Trump administration is truthfully just a band of willfully ignorant who refuse to adhere to policy, decorum, or laws.
So remember when they gave a private citizen and America’s first cousin the keys to the federal government and told him to have his way? Well, it looks like some of those firings were unjust and therefore those people will be getting their jobs back — assuming they still want them.
And the government now has egg all over their face — which is crazy when you think about how much eggs cost these days — because they ran up in the buildings firing everyone only for a judge to tell them, “Not so fast.” And that’s because no one in the Trump administration took the time to read the fine print before they started deeming jobs useless.
According to the Hill, U.S. District Judge James Bredar, ordered “probationary workers at 18 federal agencies” have to be reinstated after the Trump administration cited “performance” issues which simply “isn’t true.”
But here’s the catch: The Trump administration isn’t really trying to give them their jobs back, as many have been reinstated and then placed on administrative leave, but some have returned to full employment.
Something tells me that the DOGE folks — and the Trump administration, by extension — are just going to try and find a loophole or a legal way to continue with their mass firings, but that’s just a hunch based on the gutless and heartless way that they have gone about layoffs thus far.

And get this, those probationary workers who were fired and have now been reinstated would have to go through the onboarding process all over again, and they may still lose their job if an “appellate ruling reverses Bredar’s decision,” the Hill reports.
“In short, employees could be subjected to multiple changes in their employment status in a matter of weeks,” government officials told NBC News.
It’s almost as if the Trump administration doesn’t care about all of the lives that hang in limbo. Imagine, one day you have a job and then the next you’re fired. Then a few weeks later you’re reinstated only to learn that the administration that initially fired you is going to find a legal way to get rid of you again at some point. How are people supposed to exist in this kind of anxiety-filled limbo? You’d think that the administration tasked with governing the people of America might care about those it’s tasked to govern, but you’d be wrong.
“I want my job back,” Sarah Boim, a former communications specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told MSNBC. “I felt like I was really making a difference for the American people. I do understand that it is an environment of chaos right now, so I think it would be difficult, but I do believe in the good work that we were doing, and I would like to continue doing it.”
And this, kids, is what happens when you let children take over the White House and they just start breaking things. As my dad used to say, “Never play chess with a pigeon because he’s just going to knock over the pieces and poop all over the board and strut around like he won.”
I know. I didn’t understand it either, but it seemed fitting for this story.
