The film Wicked was nominated for four Golden Globes at this year’s ceremony so Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande were seated front and center at the festivities. All of this made it easy for cameras to capture them reacting to Nikki Glaser’s jokes in real time. Like when she asked Ariana to hold her finger and Cynthia did a protective gesture by firing back with a glare that could kill. It was a cute moment that personified their friendship. While on the red carpet, Cynthia spoke to Entertainment Tonight about their sisterhood tattoos. “It’s just real and deep. And I love her and she loves me.”

Zoe Saldana Wins Her First Golden Globe
Zoe Saldana’s emotional acceptance speech at the Globes was filled with thanks and gratitude for her co-stars. Saldana accepted the Globe for Best Supporting Female Actor – Motion Picture for her stellar portrayal of Rita in Emilia Pérez. The compelling drama was nominated for 10 awards. Her speech was woven with Spanish phrases that felt even more heartfelt. “I’m filled with adrenaline, but my heart is full of gratitude,” she said. Zoe touched on this being her first award and dropped that she was dyslexic. The inspiring and tearful monologue was one of the more heartfelt moments of the night.
Nikki Glaser Roasts Everyone
If you’ve ever watched Nikki Glaser roast your favorite celeb, you know she isn’t afraid to push the boundaries of a joke. Her clever jokes and perfectly timed delivery were a breath of fresh air. She even made a Diddy joke funny joking about Stanley Tucci’s afterparty having loads of olive oil and not the other kind. Even her opening line was a roast. “Welcome to the 82nd Golden Globes – Ozempic’s biggest night,” she greeted the Hollywood audience. Social media agrees she should be the host for the next few years.
Vin Diesel And The Rock’s Beef is Everlasting
If you thought the Fast & The Furious feud between Vin Diesel and the Rock was over, you are sadly mistaken. The former co-stars came to face-to-face at the Golden Globes when Vin Diesel hit the stage to present an award. During his monologue, he waved at The Rock and said, “Hey, Dwayne.”
Demi Moore’s First Award

It’s hard to believe Demi Moore has never won an award for her acting prior to last night’s Golden Globes. Demi won Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy for her role as Elisabeth Sparkle in The Substance. During her inspiring speech, she revealed this was the first accolade she had received for her on-screen performance.
“I really wasn’t expecting that. I’m just in shock right now. I’ve been doing this a long time, like, over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor, and I’m just so humbled and so grateful,” she said.
It goes to show you that you can be successful at any age despite what society says. Congrats to all the winners.
