One would think that with all of the hits that L-taker-in-chief Rudy Giuliani has taken as of late, it would dawn on him that being a despicable human being is not working for him anymore. It had its benefits before Trump. But not since Trump.
Being a lying racist has resulted in Giuliani having to fork over his assets to the Black women he defamed as they seek to collect on the hundreds of millions awarded to them. Yet, even after winning their case against him, Giuliani continued to defame Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Wandrea “Shaye” Moss.
Supporting Donald Trump resulted in Giuliani drowning in so much litigation that he couldn’t afford to pay his legal council, which resulted in his own lawyers suing him — yet he continues to be a loyal Trump supporter. And liar.
Giuliani doesn’t learn from his mistakes, and that’s why he’s out here hopping aboard the bigot bandwagon of white conservatives spreading hate speech about Haitians.
Before launching into an anti-Haitin rant that would make any MAGA Nazi proud, Giuliani asked the hosts of the Flyover Conservatives podcast this week if they remembered “when JD Vance pointed out that the Haitians were eating animals in Springfield?” And then followed up by saying, “…Now it may not be true. It may be exaggerated. It may be insane. It may be whatever.”
And then came the lies and racism…
“…But here’s what it accomplished. It brought attention to Springfield, which is overwhelmed with traffic accidents, including a 70-year-old woman who died at Christmas and a 4-year-old kid who died on a bus. Because the Haitians are allowed to drive and they don’t know how to…”
In a world where the rest of us live, the law in Springfield asserts Haitian migrants cannot use a driver’s license to vote.
And finally, I know the Haitian community backwards and forwards. I spent time in Haiti negotiating when I worked for Ronald Reagan, a — something similar to stay in Mexico. And I know them because I wanted to be a Catholic priest and a missionary in Haiti. They practice Vodou. And when they practice Vodou, they kill domestic animals. I mean, half of them do. That’s just it. And that’s — and they’re not taking people in and saying, “Oh, mister Haitian, are you one of those who kills animals or not?”‘Do you practice Vodou?’ They have no idea. So, animals are getting hurt somewhere if you’ve got a lot of these people here. And look, I’m going to say this. It’s not their fault. They lived back 200 years ago. They just shouldn’t have been taken out of the jungle and placed in the middle of a small-town America. That’s ridiculous. Or big-town America for that matter.
