Diddy’s team is addressing rumors that he had something to do with Jamie Foxx’s mysterious hospitalization.

Last week, TMZ reported on the taping of Jamie’s upcoming comedy special, What Had Happened Was, and the details of what fans could expect.

According to sources close to the special,  Jamie allegedly tied his sudden hospitalization to Combs and though many speculated that Foxx was speaking his truth, sources told the outlet that Foxx’s comments were merely a joke.

The rumors started after videographer/producer Choke No Joke attended two of Foxx’s shows in early October at Atlanta’s Alliance Theatre. Choke said Foxx, using a “serious tone,” claimed he was the one who reported Diddy to the FBI.

“Jamie has a special coming out on Netflix, and I went to the taping,” Choke said. “He said, ‘Diddy did something to me, and I’m the one who called the feds on him,” AllHipHop reports.

In 2023, news broke that Jamie Foxx suffered a mystery medical complication and since his recovery, Foxx has begun sharing information about what happened in drips.

However, the team for Diddy is saying enough is enough with the baseless allegations.

AllHipHop reports that the mogul’s team sent over an email calling out the idea that Diddy was behind the comedian’s recent health scare, calling the claims “outlandish, ridiculous, and baseless.”

Diddy, born Sean Combs, 54, was initially arrested in late September in New York after prosecutors hit him with a RICO charge and charges of sex trafficking.

Since then, Combs has remained behind bars and has been denied bail numerous times. Federal prosecutors have asserted that the troubled mogul must stay in a Brooklyn jail until his court date on May 5, 2025.
