British influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo died back in March, but the Inner West London Coroners’ Court has just ruled he died after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
According to TMZ, Ubiribo was in Thailand on vacation when he underwent a penis enlargement surgery. During the procedure, he was injected with 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and the numbing agent lidocaine.
He was reportedly fine after the surgery and headed back to a Marriott hotel, where he got a massage with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, a fashion designer and socialite. However, during the wellness treatment, he complained of chest pain and passed out twice.
An ambulance transported him to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was in and out of consciousness but did tell hospital staff about the penis injections. Doctors discovered he suffered a blood clot in his lungs and, despite efforts to revive him by performing CPR for “100 minutes,” he passed away.
During the autopsy, materials matching the hyaluronic acid injected into his penis were found in his lungs. Coroner Jean Harkin ruled that Igho died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic procedure.
He was known for his luxurious lifestyle; as TMZ notes, he owned a million-dollar home in Los Angeles and a $600,000 apartment in London. When he and his wife got married in 2022, they tied the knot with a lavish $473,000 ceremony in Zimbabwe.
Even in death, he was buried in a gold casket that reportedly cost upwards of $745,000.
Through social media, he not only showed off his wealth but also his wife, writing on Instagram in honor of their anniversary, “Every day with you is a gift, and every moment feels like magic. I thank God for you always, my heart, my home, my forever.”
He was also close friends with Nigerian artist Davido and celebrated their glow-up last year on Instagram.
“Almost two decades in the game! I’m super proud of my little brother; it can only be GOD. We went from Boys To Men,” he wrote on Instagram as the two leaned on a Rolls-Royce.
