As the uphill battle towards a healthy and free life for Wendy Williams continues on with no real resolution in sight, many are left wondering what will become of the once-beloved daytime television queen’s legacy. On the upside though, it now appears that any future updates will be coming straight from Wendy herself after she made a surprising return to Instagram earlier this week with a clear message in her bio for anyone counting her out: “My career is NOT over because God is GREAT and HE has the LAST WORD!”
The message was more or less for Judge Lisa Sokoloff, who according to TMZ told Williams during a court hearing last Thursday that her proposed career relaunch is virtually impossible.

“It’s pretty outrageous … Wendy showed up in court Thursday and appeared before Judge Lisa Sokoloff. Our sources tell TMZ, the judge railed on Wendy’s niece, Alex Finnie, accusing her of leaking information to the media and threatening her with sanctions for future conduct.
The judge wasn’t finished. We’re told she attacked Wendy’s family, essentially saying they were no good.
And then … Judge Sokoloff out of the blue started talking about Wendy’s career. We’re told she said Wendy had a great career, but it was over, adding she will never have a career again — ‘It’s done.’
Our sources say the remarks hurt Wendy deeply, and it was unclear why she said it. Beyond it being hurtful, it’s unclear what expertise the judge has in the entertainment industry to make such a grim assessment.”
Her other reasoning for jumping back on IG was to call out what she referred to as a violation to her health privacy that allegedly occurred in January 2022. In the filed complaint (seen below), Williams and her team accuse Dr. Rami Kaminski of disclosing her private records to Lori Schiller, the financial advisor Wendy’s been at war with for the better part of three years. Actually, it’s being reported that his medical note is what got her put in a conservatorship in the first place. In one passage, he clearly writes, “Ms. Williams has been my patient for over a year now. Over the last six months, she has been unable to make reasoned decisions, and her insight and judgment are severely impaired.”
The latest report also comes from TMZ, who Wendy told earlier today that her thyroid medication was switched without any explanation. According to the outlet, Wendy claims a nurse presented her with “a different color pill” and no update as to why or the overall status of her thyroid condition.
