Yella Beezy is currently in police custody after being charged in the 2020 shooting death of fellow Dallas rapper MO3.
According to court documents filed in Dallas County, TX, Yella Beezy, real name Markies Conway, has been charged with Capital Murder While Remuneration, with authorities claiming that he paid shooter Kewon White to commit the crime.
MO3, real name Melvin Noble Jr., was gunned down on Interstate 35E in Dallas on November 11, 2020, as he attempted to run away from the shooter.
White pleaded guilty in May 2022 to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was sentenced to 9 years in prison. He is currently awaiting trial for MO3’s death.
Following the news of Yella Beezy’s arrest, MO3’s mother, Nichole Williams Noble, responded on social media, calling for justice.
