Winnie Harlow is about to walk down her most important runway yet—the aisle! The supermodel and her longtime love, NBA star Kyle Kuzma, just announced their engagement, and it’s giving all the romantic vibes we could ever hope for.
The couple shared their big news in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, Feb. 18, featuring a series of swoon-worthy photos of them posing on a private jet. But the true star of the images was Winnie’s dazzling 8.5-carat oval-cut diamond ring.

Kyle didn’t just wake up one day and decide to pop the question—this proposal was six months in the making. But the actual vision for it? That dates back to 2022 when the two first vacationed together in Turks and Caicos. According to Vogue, the couple took a sunset swim and watched as the stars filled the sky, a moment Winnie later called the best day of her life. That’s when Kyle knew—when the time came, this was where he wanted to ask her to be his forever.
And when we say he delivered, we mean it. The proposal was romantic AF. Picture this: a private jet overflowing with roses, balloons, champagne, and a self-written poem. Oh, and let’s not forget the ring—designed by Kyle himself!
He told Vogue he wanted something “elegant, timeless, and simplistic” that reflected Winnie’s personality. Let’s just say he understood the assignment. In other words: “He’s a good man, Savannah (Winnie)!”

But Kyle wasn’t done yet. When the couple touched down in Turks and Caicos, their families were waiting to celebrate. A surprise within a surprise? (According to news reports, Winnie had reached out to her family wanting to share the news not knowing her mother and sister were in town to celebrate).
Winnie and Kyle have been serving us relationship goals since they first connected online during the early days of the pandemic. They’re the poster couple for successful quarantine love stories.
Despite a missed Instagram connection, fate had other plans. Kyle was so serious about meeting Winnie that he flew her out private for their first date because of safety concerns. If that’s not commitment, what is?
