Finally, we got our first look at Marvel’s first family in their first Marvel Studios feature-length film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and it looks very promising.

We have lift-off.

Today, from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville, Alabama, First Steps cast Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joesph Quinn hit the launch button on the first teaser trailer for the film.

The film teases a retro-futuristic New York City in the 1960s, where Mr.Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, Human Torch, and Future Foundation are well established. Thus, this isn’t going to be another origin story.

We do get to see the First Family show off their abilities with Sue Storm’s invisibility, The Thing’s rocky look (it looks fantastic), and Johnny Storm going full “FLAME ON.”

We didn’t get to see Pedro Pascal’s Mr.Fantastic stretching. Hmmmm, maybe they are saving that for another trailer.

Anyway, we also get to see Kirby, the lovable robotic assistant, and a small glimpse of the film’s giant threat, Galactus (Ralph Ineson), and he is massive as he makes the Statue of Liberty look like a fancy paperweight.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is the next project to be released on July 25, following Captain America: Brave New World.

Consider us very excited about this film. There is no Marvel fatigue here, and given the next four years, we will need all the distractions we can get.

Fans are also reacting to the trailer, and everyone expects to be seated for this movie, like this user on X, formerly Twitter.
