You can call her Mrs. Davis now! Community star Yvette Nicole Brown and her fiancé, Anthony Davis, tied the knot on Dec. 14 with a stunning wedding ceremony at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, according to People. Surrounded by close friends and family, the event was described as an “intimate, classy, and fun” celebration, with 200 guests in attendance. Brown’s Community co-stars were also present, cheering her on as she jumped the broom.

Brown and Davis’ wedding ceremony looked like something out of a fairytale. The event’s romantic and dreamy decor was designed by celebrity event planner William P. Miller. Guests sipped on signature cocktails before enjoying a delicious dinner featuring sea bass and short rib, accompanied by a performance from harpist Mariea Antoinette. For dessert, attendees indulged in a decadent four-tiered lemon fantasy cake and strawberry shortcake, beautifully decorated with fresh florals by Cake Studio LA. At the reception, DJ Kacy “Mister Wilson” Wilson kept the energy high, spinning tunes while guests danced and snapped playful pictures in a 360-degree photo booth, People noted.
When it was time to say “I do,” Brown walked down the aisle in a stunning fishtail wedding gown made courtesy of Ines Di Santo complete with a matching cathedral veil. She accessorized with a beautiful headpiece and striking pearl earrings from Maria Elena Headpieces, all expertly styled by Wedding Fashion Expert and Lovella Bridal. The Hollywood star’s beautiful makeup was created by Beth Carter Beauty, while her hair was styled by Gabrielle Corney.
Reflecting on the special moment, Brown shared with People that the first time she ever wore a wedding dress was for her role as Helen Dubois on Nickelodeon’s Drake & Josh. She was amazed by the full-circle moment, saying it felt surreal to now wear a wedding dress of her own in real life.
“I cried when I saw myself in the wedding dress, and the wardrobe woman thought I was crying because I looked so beautiful,” Brown shared. “First of all, I’m not that kind of chick to cry because I look beautiful … I was crying because I was like, ‘This may be the only time I’m in a wedding dress.’ And to realize that all these years later I was wrong and that I get to have my bridal moment as well, and my happy ending as well, it’s amazing.”
Walking down the aisle with your forever partner can be nerve wracking, but Brown said she had no fear sealing the deal with Davis. “I had no nerves when it came to marrying this man,” the star added. “He is the one for me. Absolutely.”
Davis complemented Brown’s elegance by donning a custom brown suit from Vinny’s Custom Clothes, complete with cufflinks engraved with a handwritten message from the bride.

According to Brown’s December interview on The View, she and Davis have known each other since they were in their 20s, with their romance manifesting thanks to their incredible friendship. They attended acting class together at church “years ago,” but lost touch. They rekindled their friendship shortly after the actress’s mother passed away in 2021.
“That’s when he found me,” she said.
This will be Brown’s first marriage, and she’s thrilled that love has finally come into her life at the perfect time. In an April interview on Getting Grilled with Curtis Stone, the actress shared that she hopes her love story serves as a reminder that love is attainable at any age.
“To be my age, to be single as long as I was single and to have waited — you know, I didn’t just grab a guy, I waited until I found the guy my heart loves, that’s a testimony and that’s also aspirational and inspirational to women that are in my position,” Brown, who was joined by Davis, shared in the interview published on April 26.
“I would love for a 40-something or a 50-something woman to see this story and go, ‘Okay, it’s right for me to wait for the right one, or to not just marry whoever asks me first if I don’t feel it.’ It is still possible.”
Congrats to Yvette Nicole Brown!
