Rapper Westside Gunn is no stranger to the world of Professional Wrestling. The “Fly God” can be seen front row at some of wrestling’s biggest events, and many of his songs have referenced legendary wrestling figures, like “SummerSlam 88,” “Lucha Bros,” and “Shawn vs. Flair.” Now, his love for Professional Wrestling has led him to create his own organization and event coming in November.
Gunn is proud to announce his latest venture, 4TH ROPE, showcasing his deep-rooted passion for professional wrestling. He’s set to host his “Heels Have Eyes III” event on Saturday, November 2nd, at the UIC Forum in Chicago, Illinois. With DJ legends Pete Rock and DJ Premier leading the musical lineup, and hardcore legends Sami Callihan and Nick Gage facing off in a “Steel Praying” match, expect an unforgettable night filled with intensity and brutality.
The wrestling card is packed, featuring matchups like AJ Francis vs. Joe Hendry and Real1 vs. Cha Cha Charlie, with more exciting bouts to be revealed.
In collaboration with TNA Wrestling, the event will feature major wrestling talents such as TNA Female Knockout World Champion Jordynn Grace, Moose, Masha Slamovich, and Santana. Gunn promises, “We’re gonna make this SPECIAL, building a brand with the wrestling community. I want to have fun, continue innovating, and make history with #4thRope.”
Gunn posted the event on Instagram with the caption, “DON’T MISS THE BIGGEST CULTURAL EVENT OF THE YEAR, I’ve literally been working on this every single day and my dream is finally coming true, YOUR gonna start seeing I’m nothing like ANYBODY else, when y’all thought I was chilling I was really plotting,” his post read. “4THROPE HEELS HAVE EYES 3 is not only the illest party like the first 2 at the Sold out TLA (PHILLY) & HOUSE OF BLUES (CLE) but THIS WILL FINALLY INTRODUCE 4THROPE as a WRESTLING promotion… YES I will finally be curating my first WRESTLING EVENT along with the party and you already know how much this means to me.”
Additionally, Gunn’s dynamic talents extend beyond the ring. He’s been named Creative Director at shoe brand Saucony and is preparing for his upcoming album, “Still Praying,” showcasing his versatility and commitment to both music and creative endeavors.
