New gospel songs this week (October 11) exemplify inclusive community we all strive for.

GloRilla tapped Kirk Franklin, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, and Maverick City Music for an inspirational single called “Rain Down On Me.” The song is a little reminiscent of Franklin’s own 1996 hit, “Melodies From Heaven.” It speaks to God’s mercy and grace, reminding listeners that your mistakes don’t disqualify you from God’s blessings.

Kim Viera dropped a new single called “Jumping Fences” about standing firm on God and getting aligned with the truth of His promises. “This song is the first song I wrote when I came back to music and it’s a special one for that very reason. It was my first offering to the Lord and I pray that when you listen to it, it reminds you that God’s plan for your life is so much better than the plan you saw for yourself,” Viera says. “I pray you’re reminded that it’s never too late to give your heart back to him no matter how far you’ve strayed and that he loves you more than you can possibly imagine. Jesus is the way and the only way to life everlasting. I hope this song blesses you in more ways than one.”

Nia Allen and Jor’Dan Armstrong teamed up on a “Sunshine” track, the music video of which premiered on Elev8.com today. The song talks about the positivity that follows looking towards the “Son” (of God). As of this week, “Sunshine” sits in the Top 20 on the Billboard Gospel Airplay Chart.
