BET+ is about to deliver a cinematic experience that celebrates one of R&B’s most iconic performers, Usher. The streaming platform, in partnership with Sony Music Vision, has officially announced that Usher: Rendezvous in Paris will premiere exclusively on BET+. Read more inside.
According to a press release from Paramount Press, on May 8th the film will be released exclusively on BET+. It captures the eight-time Grammy award-winning superstar during a series of electric performances in the City of Light.
Rendezvous in Paris was filmed during Usher’s sold-out eight-night run at La Seine Musicale in Paris, aligning with Paris Fashion Week. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Anthony Mandler, the concert film weaves together the sensuality and theatricality of Usher’s famed Las Vegas residencies with a distinct French elegance. Audiences can expect stunning visuals, never-before-seen costumes, and an immersive light and effects show that brings his 30-year music catalog to life.
Fans will enjoy live renditions of chart-toppers like “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” “U Got It Bad,” and more, as Usher brings intimacy, nostalgia, and high-octane energy to the Parisian stage. The film also takes viewers behind the scenes, offering a deeper look into Usher’s journey as an artist and performer.
