Thermal, , CA – April 2025 —As Coachella took over the desert, the real magic unfolded long after the last mainstage beat dropped. This year’s most coveted afterparties—NYLON House and Neon Carnival—delivered unforgettable nights of music, beauty, and celebrity-studded scenes. The turn up continues this weekend at Coachella.
NYLON House: Under the Sea, Over the Top
Presented by Ulta Beauty, NYLON House returned to Maraza with a dazzling “Deep Dive” theme that turned the desert into a surreal oceanic escape. Guests navigated glowing pathways beneath giant sea creatures to find immersive beauty experiences, fashion activations, and live performances.
Headlining the night was Dove Cameron, who lit up the stage with her techno-pop anthem “Too Much” from her upcoming album. James Hype and Austin Millz followed with crowd-moving DJ sets that kept the party surging late into the night.
VIP guests were treated to touch-ups at COVERGIRL’s desert oasis, nail art by Sally Hansen, piercings from Banter, and free-spirited glam sessions at Ulta Beauty Alley. Plan B’s “Her Album” installation offered empowering, personalized album cover shoots, each contributing to local advocacy groups.
“NYLON House once again brought our brand to life in the boldest way,” said Lauren McCarthy, NYLON’s Editor-in-Chief. “We’re thrilled to have kicked off festival season with a night of music, fashion, and beauty magic.”
Neon Carnival: Where the Night Goes Electric
Later in the weekend, the desert’s most exclusive party—Neon Carnival—made its roaring return, presented by Liquid I.V., Patrón El Alto, and Levi’s®. Set at the Desert International Horse Park, the massive open-air playground featured carnival rides, endless games, and a thumping soundtrack.
Teyana Taylor, Jhené Aiko, Tyga, and Paris Hilton danced and mingled well past midnight. DJ Pee .Wee (Anderson .Paak) led the beats with a high-energy set, followed by James Kennedy and DJ Hunny Bee. And Anderson Paak, who has been cuddling recently with Mariah Carey, pulled up.
Lori Harvey stunned in an all-black cutout look as she partied with friends under neon lights, and Paris Hilton, ever the festival queen, lit up the carnival floor.
Coachella’s after-hours scene in 2025 proved one thing: when the sun goes down, the real show begins. Whether you were diving deep at NYLON House or dancing under the stars at Neon Carnival, the desert was alive with beauty, beats, and the most talked-about names in pop culture.
