Is Beef Brewing Between Nia Long & Sherri Shepherd?

Nia probably wasn’t paying attention during that particular scene as it’s being reported she was more concerned with confronting Sherri. The latter even lowkey confirmed the run-in on her talk show today, even inviting the “unnamed celebrity” to come sit and have a conversation. In other words, pull up!

Page Six named Nia as Sherri’s celebrity in question by way of a source on the scene. While representatives for the Love Jones actress haven’t given the outlet any confirmation that she’s who Sherri was referring to, Nia herself gave a subtle hint via Instagram by posting a flawless selfie with the caption, “About last night….” and a wink of shade via the kiss emoji.

We don’t think anyone saw a beef on the horizon in 2025 between a daytime darling and America’s favorite dream girl of ’90s Black Hollywood, but we guess this is another random one to put up there on the 2025 bingo card. Could Nia have a case of mistaken identity? Is Sherri being selective in her memory? Time will tell, but social media is having a ball with it as expected.
