It’s official: Snoop Dogg’s daughter, Cori Broadus, is a new mom! Cori and her fiancé, Wayne Duece, welcomed their first baby this month and we are all in our feelings.
The couple shared the exciting news in a heartfelt Instagram post on February 28. The upload featured a precious black-and-white close-up of their baby girl’s tiny foot. The photo alone had us smiling, but Cori’s accompanying message took it to another level.

In her Instagram caption, Cori opened up about the raw emotions she’s experienced throughout her pregnancy.
“The princess arrived at 6 months. I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what, God always shows me that I’m His Child!” she wrote.
Cori, who welcomed her daughter in less than 7 months continued, “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today, and she’s perfect as ever! Thank You, God, for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me.”
Cori has been open about her ongoing health battles. From her well-documented fight with lupus to suffering a stroke in January 2024, she’s faced more challenges than most. And now, as she steps into motherhood, she continues to share her journey with raw honesty and grace.

Beyond the joy of welcoming her baby girl, Cori also took a moment to remind her followers about the importance of advocating for their health. She shared a picture of her hospital room on her Stories and revealed that doctors diagnosed her with HELLP syndrome, a rare but serious pregnancy complication.
Cleveland Clinic says HELLP syndrome “mainly affects your blood and liver.” The condition usually occurs at 28 weeks or during the third trimester of pregnancy.
According to Cori, had she not gone to the hospital when she did, the condition could have turned fatal. Using her platform for awareness, she urged her followers to listen to their bodies and seek medical attention when something feels off.
