Court documents say the 26-year-old booked a one-way ticket to overseas after the women were released, a move the FBI claims was Pritchett’s failed attempt to start a new life in Dubai.
Here’s what Houston Police say happened: On November 23, Pritchett and two women met at a gym to work out. After leaving the gym, the trio rode ATVs and eventually ended up at a bowling alley that same evening. The women observed Pritchett’s strange behavior when he and his friends noticed another group they’d “had issues” with in the past.
The women then claim Pritchett brandished a gun, threatened them and fired numerous shots out the window.
From KHOU11:
Pritchett called a woman on his phone and told her “he had the perfect opportunity and was driving to the middle of nowhere and no one could hear them scream.” The women told investigators that he threatened to kill them and they feared for their lives. When Pritchett realized they were texting each other, he took their phones. According to court documents, Pritchett turned around toward Houston and pulled over along I-10 in the Sealy area and told the women to get out of his car. “This is your only opportunity,” they said he told them.
Pritchett is currently facing two counts of aggravated kidnapping, per Harris County court records. He was originally charged on Dec. 26, 2024, but he had already left the country “to start a new life,” police learned from an online post.
He was taken into custody on Jan. 17. It’s unclear whether he turned himself in or was captured by law enforcement.
Since his capture, he remains jailed on a $100,000 bond.
