Many “get off that Don Julio, act a foolio” moments will be had this Super Bowl season, thanks to Popeyes.
Today, the companies released their Super Bowl LIX partnership, the “Championship Lineup” menu, said to be a bold collaboration that fuses the vibrant flavors of Louisiana and Mexico.
The menu’s headliner is the Popeyes x Tequila Don Julio Reposado Flavored Concha Chicken Sandwich—a chicken breast filet marinated in reposado tequila, then fried in Popeyes crunch buttermilk breading, topped with a tequila lime slaw, spicy spread, a barrel cured pickle, and sandwiched between a sweet and buttery concha roll.
Additional items include Popeyes x Tequila Don Julio Reposado Flavored Louisiana Garlic 3-Piece Wings (with a specialty sauce) and a Spicy Strawberry Hibiscus Flavored Lemonade Mocktail.

The exclusive menu will be available at select locations (see below) for a one-day-only debut on Friday Jan. 31, 2025. It will have an extended stay at Popeyes’ newly redesigned flagship restaurant (on Canal Street in New Orleans) from Jan. 31 through game day on Feb. 9, while supplies last. Customers must be ages 21 or older to try the Championship Lineup items.
