The stage is set for Hollywood’s biggest stars to shine at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards this weekend. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) unveiled its dazzling lineup of presenters, promising an unforgettable night celebrating the best in film and television. The 2025 Golden Globe Awards will air live Sunday, January 5, 2025. The list of presenters includes A-listers and fan favorites like Andrew Garfield, Anthony Mackie, and Ariana DeBose, alongside award-season all-stars like Michelle Yeoh, Colin Farrell, and Viola Davis. Other notable names taking the stage are Jennifer Coolidge, Glenn Close, Dwayne Johnson, Kate Hudson, and Seth Rogen. Representing a mix of genres and generations, presenters also include rising stars like Auliʻi Cravalho, Anthony Ramos, and Miles Teller, ensuring a dynamic and diverse roster. Iconic musicians Elton John and Brandi Carlile add even more star power to the evening.
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Emmy-nominated comedian and actress Nikki Glaser, who makes history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo. Known for her sharp wit and engaging presence, Glaser is poised to bring fresh energy to the iconic awards show.
Fans can look forward to a host of Golden Globe Awards being granted to their favorite shows, films and stars. Like the musical comedy Emilia Pérez, which dominates with a record-breaking 10 nominations, surpassing last year’s standout Barbie. Other highly nominated films include The Brutalist with seven nods and Conclave with six. On the television side, “The Bear” leads with five nominations, followed closely by “Only Murders in the Building” and “Shogun.”
Special honors will also be presented during the ceremony. Davis will receive the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award, celebrating her outstanding contributions to the film industry. Ted Danson will be honored with the Carol Burnett Award for his excellence in television.
The Golden Globes will once again recognize achievements in cinematic and box office performance, incorporating streaming viewership data through a partnership with Luminate.
Produced by Dick Clark Productions and executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment, the Golden Globes will broadcast live from the Beverly Hilton on CBS and stream on Paramount+ at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.
