Tyler, The Creator — “NOID”

Tyler, The Creator is battling paranoia on the release of his newest song, “NOID.” As he continues rolling out his forthcoming Chromakopia project in an unconventional manner, the Odd Future leader unveils a new track and video.

“I am paranoid,” Tyler confesses on the track. “Loop around the block, eyes glued to the rearview / Rather double back than regret hearin’ pew-pew.” Later, he adds: “No cameras out, please, I want to eat in peace, paranoid…Nervous system shook before 19, paranoid.”

The music video for “Noid” is color graded like the one for “St. Chroma.” Tyler wears a mask in this visual, as well. Award-winning “The Bear” actress Ayo Edebiri stars in this clip as an uncontrollably excited fan who wants to take pictures with the protagonist.

Tyler’s upcoming Chromakopia album is due to drop Monday, Oct. 28. The release bucks the usual Friday release schedule that most musicians have been abiding by for years.

“People, on the weekends, just want to chill and hang out so they’re not really listening but I think if you put [music] out during the week, that commute to work or work or whatever that is, you really have that [time] to really dive in and really listen,” he told Nardwuar last year.

Megan Thee Stallion — MEGAN: ACT II

Megan Thee Stallion released her MEGAN album a few months ago, but she’s already rolling out ACT II. It’s a star-studded 13-song project that, like the original, is also filled confident bars and global appeal.

Flo Milli, TWICE, Spiritbox, and RM of BTS all make appearances on this act. Meanwhile, Bankroll Got It, LilJuMadeDaBeat and Buddhablessthisbeat are among the album’s producers.

To go along with the new album, Megan unleashed the “Bigger In Texas” music video. In it, the Texas MC goes back to her H-Town roots, embracing the region’s rich car culture history.

Meg is surrounded by rides, but also by the likes of Slum Thug and Paul Wall, as she dances and raps about her place in the game. “Everything bigger in Texas / Ain’t no injections / We at the pole, no elections,” she raps on the track.

Meg recently explained her love for this type of Hip-Hop during a Billboard cover story. “Where I come from, people are really freestyling,” she said. “What I come from is hardcore rap, Southern rap. The one thing in my life that I knew I was really good at was rapping. I don’t ever want to get away from that.”

GloRilla f. K Carbon — “Never Find”

GloRilla is on a roll and she isn’t stopping. After dropping Glorious to great acclaim, the Memphis star unleashes a new bonus track titled “Never Find.”

“Real hood b—h, but I’m country too / Lambo low, gotta crawl in it, it’s uncomfortable,” she raps on the track. “No T.I. I’m serious / I don’t say ‘period’ ’cause I’m punctual / Even though I got millions, still eat Rap Snacks with my Lunchables.”

Yo Gotti, Lil Ronnie, Slikk Muzik, and Ace Charisma produced this banger, according to Spotify. Meanwhile, K Carbon lends her voice to the song’s second verse.

Glorious debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and earned the highest first-week sales for an album by a female rapper this year, per VIBE.

Glo made headlines outside of music too. She recently showed off a baby bump in photos, though many believe it’s a publicity stunt of some sort. “Why would I be wearing a Halloween outfit dis early?” she tweeted in response to fans. “Be fr.”

Summer Walker — “Heart of a Woman”

Summer Walker’s Over saga isn’t over just yet. After her critically acclaimed Over It and Still Over It albums, the Georgia singer-songwriter unveils “Heart of a Woman” from her forthcoming album, Finally Over It.

“Only thing that’s saving you is the heart of a woman,” she sings on the soothing new single. “Question is, why I do the things I do / Answer, I may never find, but I always choose you.”

The new single comes with a combination between a dramatized music video visualizer and a lyric video. Walker isn’t in the Erik Rojas directed clip, but actors Serena Page and Kordell Beckham play out the complicated dynamics of the relationship at the center of the track.

While Finally Over It is one of the year’s most anticipated R&B albums, it follows 2019’s Over It and 2021’s Still Over It. Both projects earned critical and commercial success.
