GloRilla is clapping back at the haters. Yes, Sis definitely had time to respond —even while getting ready for a show.

This weekend, the Memphis breakout star jumped on live with several messages for the naysayers. GloRilla’s comments responded to backlash from an old before-and-after video recently posted by Atlanta makeup artist Angelica White.

GloRilla responds to backlash from an old ‘before-and-after’ makeup video.

Angelica first posted the makeup video on October 16. The content was a before-and-after featuring GloRilla. “Watch me do this natural glam on Glo,” wrote the artist in pink neon letters on the reel.

In the video, GloRilla sat in a grey tank top, initially appearing with concealer around her eyebrows and face, seemingly at the start of the session. By the end, she rocked a full glam look with pink lip gloss, eyeshadow, blush, and contoured cheekbones.

The makeup video sparked several comments since its posting. While some fans loved the custom look, others commented negatively about the rapper’s appearance and features.

Never one to shy away from speaking up for herself, GloRilla responded to the backlash swiftly. She jumped on live with some choice words for the haters, clearly unbothered by the noise.

“How I look? Ask your man, ask a friend, ask a hater, ask a fan,” she said.

Glo also wasn’t too happy that her makeup artist posted the old video. Although it’s unclear when the original video was filmed, Glo explained that she didn’t like the makeup at the time and hadn’t agreed to the “before” content being posted.

See how the Atlanta-based makeup artist responds to GloRilla.

After seeing the Glorious rapper’s response, Angelica shared her side of the story. She took to Instagram to express her pride in working with Glo. She also said GloRilla’s comments about the before- and-after snippet “hurt.”

“You were my first celebrity client. I’m sure anybody would’ve been proud,” she said in her reel.

The Atlanta-based artist also mentioned that Glo returned to her for services on separate occasions.

GloRilla is currently on tour after dropping her newest album, GLORIOUS. But in true “Big Glo” fashion, she has no problem taking a second to address the haters.
