The court, in a unanimous ruling on Wednesday, decided against ordering a retrial in the case involving the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, whose body was never recovered.

The decision, described as stunning, means that Vybz Kartel and his associates will be freed after spending significant time behind bars. The court emphasized that there was sufficient evidence suggesting that a retrial could adversely impact Kartel’s health and well-being, considering both psychological and financial implications.
