Several historic and viral moments occurred in front of a crowd of nearly 10,000, according to the campaign, starting with Meg. After rumors of her possible participation over the last few days, the official Hot Girl Coach headlined the event, causing a stir as only she can.
The “Hiss” rapper energized the crowd with a medley of her popular hits and dance moves. Megan slayed in a striking royal blue suit, crop white blouse, and a black tie.
“We about to make history with the first female president, the first Black female president,” Megan told the excited audience, swinging long dark tresses. “Let’s get this done, hotties. Hotties for Harris!”
“And if you wanna keep loving your bodies, ladies, let me hear you make some noise,” she encouraged, possibly alluding to several contentious campaign issues, such as a woman’s right to choose.
Quavo, another hip-hop heavy hitter, also hit the Atlanta stage.
The Migos rapper took to the mic to emphasize the importance of addressing gun violence. “One of the issues I care about is resolving the gun violence issue,” Quavo stated.
“And you can’t understand the struggles of gun violence if you’re not in the field or in the heart of it. So one thing I learned about working with Vice President Harris is she always stands on business. From inviting me to the White House last year to discuss these solutions to passing the biggest gun safety laws today.”
He concluded his speech with a heartfelt tribute to his late brother and fellow Migos artist, Takeoff, saying, “And in the words of my brother Takeoff, let me get a ‘Kamala.’”
Adding to the rally’s momentum, former gubernatorial candidate Abrams joined Vice President Harris on stage. The presence of the two elicited enthusiastic responses from the audience. Together they highlighted the significance of Harris’s candidacy and a potential change in the status quo.
At times, the crowd cheered “Stacy” and “Kamala” to support the powerhouse political players.
